“What IS the missing piece?”<\/strong><\/p>\n and being unable to launch and can’t find your ideal audience.<\/p>\n After all … I did my homework, took courses and followed them to a “T”, took all the prescribed action and still…nothing.<\/p>\n Crickets.<\/p>\n The issues had to be something other than nailing my niche – after all, why was that so difficult to do?<\/p>\n Everyone kept saying – what is your experience and expertise. What are you passionate about? OK, well then DO THAT!<\/p>\n So, like I suspect many of you did as well, you created the course, product, membership site, coaching program and … again …<\/p>\n Crickets.<\/p>\n So you found yourself another program, another coach, followed the instructions to a “T” and still …<\/p>\n Crickets.<\/p>\n After numerous attempts, I asked myself:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “If the problem isn’t knowledge or skills, then…”<\/em><\/p>\n WHAT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD IS THE PROBLEM?<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I searched, and I asked, and I attended webinar after webinar, and even asked the question “directly” to those who proclaimed to know, but either I got no response or was told I must have “missed” something in the implementation.<\/p>\n I kept researching, kept asking, until one day I was attending yet another training when we were provided the definition of an entrepreneur.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”54px|0px|80px|0px|false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.17.1″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”Poppins|500|||||||” text_font_size=”19px” ul_font=”||||||||” header_font=”||||||||” header_2_font=”Roboto|700|||||||” header_2_font_size=”45px” header_2_line_height=”1.2em” header_3_font=”||||||||” text_orientation=”center” max_width=”800px” max_width_last_edited=”off|desktop” module_alignment=”center” custom_margin=”|||” custom_padding=”|||” header_2_font_size_tablet=”35px” header_2_font_size_phone=”28px” header_2_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n That definition of niche didn’t mesh with mine, or with the definition taught at colleges and universities!<\/p>\n I then further realized that while this was a widely held belief within the internet marketing space, it approached entrepreneurship backwards – as anyone with any entrepreneurial experience would tell you.<\/p>\n These gurus, who likely were early to the game and so had success because it was a blue ocean, really had no idea HOW to start a business.<\/p>\n Their approach was one that would work ONLY in a blue ocean environment – one that no longer exists in most markets.<\/p>\n They approached it from a Product – Market – Offer perspective.<\/p>\n First they created a product based on their knowledge, skills and\/or experience, then they went looking for a market that would buy this expertise, and from there put their offer out into the world.<\/p>\n The right\/correct approach is Market – Offer – Product.
